Full Detector Simulation with Unprecedented Background Occupancy at a Muon Collider

Abstract In recent years, a Muon collider has attracted lot of interest in the high-energy physics community, thanks to its ability achieving clean interaction signatures at multi-TeV collision energies most cost-effective way. Estimation potential such an experiment must take into account impact beam-induced background on detector performance, which be carefully evaluated using full simulation. Tracing all particles entering region single bunch crossing is out reach for any realistic computing facility due unprecedented number particles. To make it feasible optimisations have been applied simulation workflow. This contribution presents overview main characteristics collider, technologies considered and how they are taken strongly reduce irrelevant computations performed during Special attention dedicated optimisation track reconstruction with conformal tracking algorithm this high-occupancy environment, computationally demanding part event reconstruction.
